José Antonio Rodríguez Díaz
José Antonio Rodríguez Díaz works as an English Secondary School teacher at IES Mediterráneo (Málaga). He has held teaching posts at several Spanish Secondary Schools. He also worked as a Spanish teaching assistant at the University of Colorado at Boulder (USA) in 1993-94. Apart from holding a first degree in English, he also graduated in German at the University of Santiago in 1994. He was awarded a Ph.D. with distinction in English in 2012 with a dissertation on Anglicisms and Germanisms in modern advertising European Spanish 1998-2007. He has presented several papers on anglicisms in several international conferences and meetings. His research interests comprise particularly lexical processes and loanwords.
