Inmaculada Gigirey Liste

Inmaculada Gigirey Liste obtained a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Santiago de Compostela in June 1990. She also holds a BA Degree in Primary Education with Modern Languages (Santiago de Compostela, 1987). Inmaculada taught Spanish at the Dundee College of Further Education in Scotland (September 1990-June 1991) and at the Penwith College in Cornwall (October 1993-June 1994). Since 1998 she has worked as a teacher of English at the Centro Superior de Hostelería de Galicia, a Hotel Management School associated to the University of Santiago de Compostela. In October 2005, she was admitted to the PhD Programme in English Linguistics of the University of Santiago de Compostela, where she completed two years of postgraduate courses. She is now preparing a Ph.D on English for Specific Purposes under the supervision of Mario Cal Varela and Francisco Xabier Fernández Polo.
